Applegate Insulation There's No Better Insulation than Applegate Insulation®
There's No Better Insulation Than Applegate
Applegate R-Foam Insulation - is versatile. It can be used to re-insulate older homes that contain little or no insulation, even if the wall cavity is partially filled with old, ineffective insulation. Applegate R-Foam does what others cannot, flowing through empty space and across old material to fill the wall cavity. Applegate R-Foam can be injected into the wall cavity from either the interior or from the exterior of the home. It can even be installed behind existing brick.

R-Foam is biodegradable and excess foam is easily cleaned up and disposed of. R-Foam is a Class A building material and meets or exceeds all testing requirements of current building standards.

R-Foam foam solves the problem of drafty walls in poorly insulated homes. R-Foam is non-expanding injection foam that can be injected into walls of existing homes. . It can be installed from the inside through the drywall or from the outside through the exterior siding or brick.

EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm (RRP Certified) Certified under rule: Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP)
EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm (RRP Certified)
Common renovation activities like sanding, cutting, and demolition can create hazardous lead dust and chips by disturbing lead-based paint, which can be harmful to adults and children.

To protect against this risk, on April 22, 2008, EPA issued a rule requiring the use of lead-safe practices and other actions aimed at preventing lead poisoning.

Under the rule, beginning April 22, 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

EPA requires that firms performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in pre-1978 homes, child care facilities and schools be certified by EPA and that they use certified renovators who are trained by EPA-approved training providers to follow lead-safe work practices.

International Association of Certified Thermographers
The International Association of Certified Thermographers is the first and only non-profit interdisciplinary thermal imaging association.
Associate Member

IACT was created in response to the needs of both the public and thermographers. The IACT gives thermographers from diverse backgrounds an accessible place for unbiased information and services.

One of IACT's goals is to provide the public a place where they can find a qualified thermographer and recieve trustworthy information on thermography. IACT is the first and only non-profit membership association that is bringing together thermographers in all disciplines.

IACT was conceived in the summer of 2006 due to the lack of unbiased, cohesive information available on thermography to the general public and thermographers. With the growing number of people acquiring thermal cameras there needs to be a way for the public to locate information and a qualified thermographer to meet their needs.
